Can I leave my pet with you for treatment while I am at work?
Yes. This is a service we provide. Our veterinarians will consult with you upon your arrival. Your pet can then remain with us for any diagnostic testing or treatments you have consented to during its stay.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Appointments are essential for us to maintain our high quality of care to your animals. However, in emergency situations we will consult with you and your pet on arrival.
My pet has gone missing. What do I do?
Initially asking neighbours and walking your surrounding area is the best course of action. If this is unsuccessful we recommend calling the Young Shire Council Ranger, Young Veterinary Clinic and the local media outlets.
Social media has recently assisted many people in our area in reuniting them with their missing pets. This works especially well if you have a clear photo of your pet. Micro chipping and pet tags on collars are essential for us to identify and return your pet promptly.
I have found a stray pet. Who do I contact?
The Young Shire Council Ranger is responsible for dealing with stray pets in our area and helping them to find their way home.
